Life safety is a scientific field that involves theoretical and practical knowledge over principles of protecting people from hazardous factors in any area of human activity, safety assurance and health conservation in modern environment. The course provides an overview of modern environmental conditions, their negative health impact and corresponding principles of safety management in the area of interaction between people and environment. Basics of physiology, labor psychology and rational life conditions provision are considered in the training program. The course also involves assessment of harmful and hazardous factors, principles of their identification, and provides an overview of their physiological impact with corresponding means of safety improvement. For students, the final result of training is formation of fundamental competencies in the area of technosphere and society interaction. In addition, the Summer School provides its trainees with an oportunity to visit leading enterprises in the areas related to the course.
